Winston Hansen

I'm a Vancouver based photographer who loves to make images that tell great stories. I have photographed events for local groups, families and businesses in the Vancouver area and would love to know if my photo aesthetic could match your needs.

A little about myself - I'm from an extremely small town on the South East Coast of Canada called Forest City and moved to Vancouver, BC in early 2015. The hustle of the city and the pace of  life here really struck a chord with me; there are so many people, all flying by in their own little world. I strive to capture glimpses into these worlds through imagery and photography. 

I have a very strong interest in technology and science, holding a degree in Civil Engineering and an active professional membership with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.

I also have a passion for music -- always listening to the soundtrack of my life while doing pretty much anything.

I am involved in a volunteer capacity with the Vancouver Coastal Health Network's CEAN group and formerly with the Sam Sullivan organization, ConnecTra, as a mentor.
